Ananda Serné
Ananda Serné (Rotterdam, 1988) is a visual artist and writer. She obtained an MA in Fine Art from Iceland University of the Arts. She grew up on her parents' cargo ship, sailing Europe's waterways, and now lives in Norway. She wrote IJsberenprotocol following her own residency on Svalbard.
Fiction
Her short stories have appeared in literary magazines and her art has been exhibited in museums all over the world. Night Bloomers (2022) is her debut novel and has been longlisted for the 2023 Libris Literature Prize.
