Marcel Haenen
Marcel Haenen (b. 1960) has been a reporter for the NRC newspaper since 1984, and is its ‘penguin editor’. He has written books on serious crime, such as The Dancer, and The IRT Swamp.

His book The Boxer (2018), a biography of lawyer and Holocaust survivor Max Moszkowicz Sr., was shortlisted for the 2019 Brussels Prize for the best journalistic book and sold more than 25,000 copies.
