Joost Oomen
Joost Oomen (b. 1990) is a poet, novelist, playwright and DJ.
He has performed at large festivals and in theatres throughout the Netherlands. In 2020, de Volkskrant newspaper called him the greatest literary talent of the year. His debut novel, Het Perenlied (The Pear Song), was nominated for the Anton Wachter Prize. In the Netherlands, he is also known for his op-eds and appearances on radio and television.
